OUR FARM
THE LOCAL PLATE
Our family-run farm is nestled in the Rocky Mountains, not far from Cranbrook, BC. We practice a form of agriculture that is regenerative and restorative to the land. Our animals are raised in open grasslands without the use of hormones or steroids.
Connecting our community to their food is what excites us. We celebrate our animals, we honour the land and we produce the best quality meat.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
The pork from The Local Plate is absolutely delicious! It's incredibly lean - even the bacon has very little fat! The pork chops are absolutely mouthwatering! We've used the ground pork to make some amazing dinners including baked ziti and it turned out better than ever!
